Día de los Muertos-Day of the Dead Celebration November 2nd 2-4pm

Día de los Muertos celebrates the lives of passed loved ones, believing that their dear departed family member’s spirits return to visit the living world on November 1 and 2 throughout Mexico and Central America. Instead of a sad funeral vibe, it is a joyful occasion to honor, remember, and welcome ancestors spirits with a focus on family and Life. And that death is a natural part of the life cycle and celebrating the enduring connection between the living and the dead. Altars are created called ofrendas with photographs, favorite items, and personal items to welcome and honor the spirits. Marigolds represent the union between life and death and are an essential part of an ofrenda to help guide the souls there. The yellow color of marigolds also represents the sun and gold in different cultures.

Come Celebrate with us with crafts for all ages, music, La Catrina face painting, and real Yellow Marigold Flowers. The first 5 families to register will leave with their own marigold potted plant!

Family Night-Paint Races. This is a fun interactive family event that will have everyone laughing and cheering as your family creates a masterpiece and memories!  Minimum of 3 people, Ages: 5+

Families/groups will relay race to paint a picture, while playing a game of chance and fun challenges to get to the painting and the paint! Once you reach your team’s painting you have 3 minutes to paint before you must return to your team starting line. There will be twists and unexpected challenges in this fun family painting game!

It’s Saturday Night! Family Night at Wondery- Snail Mail is getting a makeover! Writing cards and decorating cards is a lot easier and more fun than you remember as a child forced to write boring thank you notes.  Make your own cards from blanks or dress up a card and envelope from our giant stock pile to suit your needs. We have lots of cards to choose from, lots of colors of paper and envelopes to choose from. Lots of stamps, ink colors, colored pencils, pens and embellishments to choose from! Get a head start on some birthday or holiday cards and learn some fun skills to use at home!

Friday Night Event- Couples Night: Painting in Watercolors!
Come to a fun paint night unlike any you have experienced. This is a fun and interactive painting night for 2 people, any 2 people, bring a friend, bring a date, bring your Grandma, bring your best friend, bring a new friend!
