We have projects in several different types of art mediums; including clay, painting, mixed media, fibers, drawing. We take daily outdoor walks, host daily art shows and all students have the opportunity to show their artwork in our lobby Gallery after camp.  Learn more about Youth Art Month Here.

Why Kids Love No School Day Art Camps

After so many tightly structured school days, our space nurtures children’s need to engage in self-driven creative play. Our play based approach focuses on the process of exploring and playing with the art media. While exposing children to new materials and techniques and honors each child’s unique ideas and creativity. We encourage your child to express themselves freely and discover the joy of making art. Kids develop a connection with the teacher and space, exploring more materials and expanding their creative thinking over time. 

After a quick daily meeting to share about our days, kids spread out throughout the studio to gather their supplies and begin creating. There's often a quiet buzz as the creative work takes place, and as kids get to know each other they collaborate to bring ideas to life. We maintain engagement by having a different focus each day with new materials, and introduce creative games, invitations to create and story read aloud sessions depending on the interests of each group. We also go on an outdoor art adventures to find art for journaling and creating.
